Ah, I found it! Good story, and as the first one, very intriguing. I loved all the mystery and I don't actually care if it was making sense to me. It just fit into a special mood and made me want to sink into that universe and stay a little bit longer.

Also, Eliot with dark-grey wings and a sword? Damn good image!
